Another day without being able to do my own photos.

I took this one from Pinterest.

 

It's Friday but seems like a Wednesday.

The week was weird for me

due to the extra day Holiday.

And, yes, I always capitalize Holiday.

I like the word.

It's meaning.

The potential of it.

 

My woods have been quiet.

A few birds visiting

but not too much other than that.

 

I see the Spring arriving though.

A few bulbs are trying.

Which is hard in my woods

due to the squirrels, deer, bear,

 raccoons and coyotes.

(I haven't seen the last three

in a while but they're out there)

 

I don't blog often.

Doing this and that

and keeping busy.

 

Not being able to post

my own photos

is a bummer.

I think do I really want

to put the time into it.

Still working on the fix

for this old computer.

Each day it's recover a bit

of what it lost but more

is waiting to be retrieved

from the vapors of disc ville.

 

This weekend, I have a list

a mile long of things

I need to get done.

 

The Purr and Fur Gang

have been napping

and helping me.

Not much else to do

until the warmer days

decide to arrive.

 

We are waiting

and looking out the windows.

Hoping it makes an

early dance down our

long driveway.

 

And, that's about it

from the woods

on this sort of

chilly Friday.

Dark and Cold

I sit here in the dark.

Been up for hours.

Jodie and Maddy woke up early.

I've had coffee and checked things.

Just now getting a bit light out.

Been a dark and windy morning so far.

Was thinking that the holidays are over.

The outdoor lights will come down.

Been too cold and wet to do them.

A few colors on the plants 

lining the sort of long driveway.

This month is cold.

An in between one.

I look toward the next.

Knowing that the warmth

will arrive after that.

I'm just not a cold lover.

I like the light.

Be it from the sun

or holiday lights.

Friday From The Beach

I was going to show you a photo of me

at the Ocean 

from last weekend.

Only I'm at the beach place

and my photos are back home.

Not here at this puter.

Sad face.

Anyway, I'll show you next time.

On the bird nest front,

Mama bird is still sitting.

No action yet.

I am a bit worried though.

On another blog, they have a nest on their porch.

Just like I do.

A baby has fallen out twice now.

Not good when I have four cats

and two dogs who go out on the deck.

(Baby cat Riley, is the only one who doesn't get to go out)

He has managed to find a way to get off the deck.

The other four haven't.

Smart or what.

They get to go out, he doesn't.

(on the main floor but second due to a basement)

Hope you all have a fun weekend.

The rain has gone and the warms are here.

Supposed to be in the 90's next week.

That is hot for us.

Friday In Coneville

Maddy Jean does the cone well.

She feels well enough to go outside

and play with Jodie Belle

(Jodie was moving which she normally is)

while being watched of course.

Still on pain meds.

Did have a stitch blow but we think it will mend.

If it gets worse, we'll go get it fixed.

Napping On A Friday Afternoon

The wind blew in.

Trees rustling around.

Noisy buggers they are.

Thought I better check on those two wild ones.

Golden furs playing in their yard.

Ok, one is Golden, the other beige and white.

The day is sunny in spots.

Meaning if you stand in it you feel it.

If you don't, you feel something else.

Was supposed to get my furs done.

Not today.

Sad am I.

Needed to have them fixed quite a bit.

That darn sun causes migraines.

Wouldn't that be an interesting mix of furs.

Oh, well next week perhaps.

(My furs specialist not me for a change)

My two have come inside.

Not due to the wind but being tired.

They ran and chewed and rolled around.

Funny how when you have plans for the day

and suddenly that changes that you think

wow now what.

I think the sunny day reminds me of Spring.

Of days that are coming.

Days that I so enjoy.

Only when those days do come,

I hope my furs are done.

My thoughts on this Friday afternoon

after my hair stylist called to cancel

due to a migraine. I'm usually the one

who gets those but not today. And, I

really needed to get my roots and length

done. Have things to do this weekend.

Maybe I'll be wearing a hat and I'm not

a hat lady.

It's Friday !!!

Seems like it was a long week.

Mostly due to me being sick.

Yuck !!!

Hate feeling like an old sick cat lady.

Today, I actually think I'll get something on my list done.

Yeah !!!

Not really but there's always a lot that I have to check off.

If I don't get these things done, who will .. no one.

So, I've already done a few of them.

Got up around five thirty.

Nothing like having coffee in the dark.

The dogs have been in and out and in and out.

Mostly due to me getting them in from the frozen deck.

If the water bowl is total ice,

I don't really think they should stay out there

like it's sunny and warm.

I told them if the sun comes out

that I would let them stay til they bark to come in.

(the sun is supposed to come out sometime today)

Anyway, it's Friday !!!

Do I have plans for the weekend.

Not really.

That list is always long.

There's a puppy chewing on me as I type this.

How did that happen ?

She barked and I got her inside.

Her older sister who was sitting out on the deck

wanted to stay but I told her no.

So, thus the in and out goes on.

Maybe they'll take a puppy nap.

Do I get to take one too ?

By the way, with my coffee this meowning

I had a lovely buzz saw migraine join in.

Those are just no fun.

I think I will get another cup of coffee.

For the Holidays, I got a Keurig machine.

Been having fun trying out this and that flavors

and I also use my old coffees.

Got one of the filters with it too.

And, that is my story for this Friday.

Fall In The Northwest

It's rainy

It's wet

It's yucky out

It's Fall in the Northwest

Meredith Ann and I are at the beach place

She loves it here

Lots of room to run and nap

Two of her favorite things

Really, she does like to run around the halls

Especially likes to sing in the bathroom

I think it's the echo effect

and that she likes to hear her own voice

Maddy Jean likes it here too

Running around the yard

Barking at the Seagulls

Jasmine decided to come with

Which means, I got her before she hid under the bed

She's been singing too

I'm going to spend a quiet weekend

Drinking tea

And, reading my book.

I leave one here just for that.

Saw one new dog on petfinder

that might fit in with our crazy home

It's out here by the beach area

I might call them

And, that is my update on this

Been a very odd week.

Weird, odd, quirky things keep happening.

Another one this morning that just makes my head go

Life just throws stuff at us

It's how we handle it that matters

I know that

Only can I have a few hours

To just complain

Enough is enough

CRAZY

And my old coma brain

gets tired

Today I plan on being

quiet

well, as much as I can

with five cats & two dogs
