Cat Tales

I saw this cat and thought,

WOW,

how beautiful is she or he.

Been busy.

Doing lots of Holiday things.

No baking.

Not into that.

Not without help.

The puppy is growing every day.

Smart. Learning.

Boxes are arriving.

Love how I don't have to 

go to the shopping malls

for everything.

No tree.

No decorations.

Will try to start that.

For now, I'm enjoying.

Coffee in a cat cup.

Two dogs snoozing.

Cats trying to open a box.

Tape still on it.

Riley will get it open soon.

Rain has arrived.

Nasty wet out.

Pancakes

In your head by the Cranberries.
What I call it anyway.

I just ate pancakes.

The best I've ever had.

My son made them.

No other explanation needed.

He's home for a few days.

Just what my heart needed.

We drove to the beach for a few days.

Music is playing.

Mr. Boatman does the music selections.

Riley is next to me asking for pets.

Just what I need to forget.

Next Monday I go in for surgery.

My two for one special.

Both kidneys will be worked on.

Enough said about that.

For now, my soul is happy.

I'm doing a bit of a dance

while I drink my coffee

and pet my cute orange cat.

One And Only

This is what I was listening to 
while drinking my meowning coffee.
Fog, cats, dogs and music.
Going to be a grand day.

Saturday Dancing

 

I'm sitting here on a Saturday night.

Having a nice glass of wine

and listening to Adele sing to my soul.

 

I am not much for technology

and getting things to work.

I tried on the fancy stereo cd dvd system

but it did nothing at all.

 

Thus, I came into my beloved den

and got it to work in here.

 

For my birthday, I purchased myself

a cd dvd from her Royal Albert Hall concert.

A gift to me for making it one more year.

 

I love it.

 

For some reason, my life is just screwed up.

 

I can't ever get it better.

 

So I give up.

 

It is what is it.

 

My health and my emotional being are lost.

 

Down that huge path going fast

and stumbling on the tiny stones

along the road.

 

I am enjoying my moment.

 

I think that's what my life is about.

 

The tiny moment in between those awful ones.

 

I have some great tiny moment.

 

Just saying ...

 

And, yes there is some dancing going on

while my two cats sit in the window

watching for birds in the now darkness.

I am so thankful for music.

 

It will get me through this.

I just know it will.
