Mom says I look very wise.
I agree.
Cause I am.

It's been cold here in our woods.
Meaning that I have not
 gone outside in furever.

I nap on top of the blanket on the couch.
Looking out at the woods.

I nap on the heater vent.
letting it blow my furs.

I talk to Mom.
She always spoils me.

I have to look
at my other fur mates.
That gets tiring
and take a long nap.

I dream of the warm
sunshine
that I love to visit.

Til then I'll just have
to bat at the collie's tail
when she walks by me.
Got to do something.

I found some sun.
That yellow stuff that makes me warm.
I sit and take it in.
In between watching the Mom, that is.

Speaking of the Mom,
she is improving.
Having coffee in the den.
Big improvement.

Watching bird TV.
Yes, I think she likes them more than me.
Nah, that can't be.
I am cat.
She is just cat lover.

So, my world is good.
I did my job.
The Mom survived.
A bit crabby but still,
she is down here with us like she used to do.

Small steps but we will take them.
Thus, I have some time to sit in the sun.

I think that look says it all.

 

We are at the beach place.

All of the Purr and Fur Gang.

That meant a long car ride.

There was lots of singing to the Holiday songs.

 

Now, I'm here and normally it's just me.

The Mom spoils me that way.

Nope, not this time.

It's everyone.

 

Mom said something about the old house

being remodeled.

I liked it the way it was.

My couch.

My fireplace.

My windows.

My room.

Nothing wrong with them.

 

Mom says we will be here for two weeks or more.

How will I survive.

I'm going to think about it while napping in my boys bed.

No one else with a tail seems to go in there.

I go under the covers and nap away.

 

Mom also can't download new photos of me.

So, this one is an old one.

I look fabulous in it though.

 

Mom says it's dreary and wet outside.

She might have to light the fireplace.

That might make me come out from my covers.

Me and fireplaces.

We just seem to get along.

Monday With Meredith Ann

It's me.

Meredith Ann.

 

I sit on the scratching post.

I watch bird TV .. sometimes.

Other times, I look at my Mom.

 

This week we have been busy.

I help Mom with everything.

So, it's been quite tiring.

Thus, the reason for sitting for a while.

 

My boy came home on Saturday.

I purred and purred for him.

He seems to like that.

He has to go back to his place of study soon

but for this week he's all mine.

 

I know that the rest of you are thinking

of turkey and ham but, we don't do that.

We do a fabulous spaghetti.

We're weird over here.

 

Not to worry though.

I get spoiled no matter what.

As the snoopervisor, I get all the extras

and taste testing is my specialty.

I know it's Monday.

I even took some cute photos of Meredith Ann.

Only for some reason, I am currently having

a reaction to my heart medication.

All blown up and all.

So, next week I will get Meredith Ann off her heating vent

and she'll tell you all about her adventures.

 

I am going into my normal heart Doctor tomorrow.

They told me to just take a antihistamine for now.

It seems to have helped.

It's been a Wild Crazy Week over here.

I got to go to the beach place this weekend.

It has a deck that I can sit on.

The sun came out and

 Mom and I rocked for a long time.

Mom isn't feeling well.

Her cold and cough are being mean.

I told her not to give it to me.

She said she wouldn't.

Today, we are back home.

I'm sitting in the sun by my window.

So, is my brother, Riley.

He's the one that likes to chase me.

Who wouldn't .. I'm that cute.

Mom said I was her bunny rabbit.

I told her I already knew I was.

It happened !!!

Spring arrived in my rainy/snowy part of the woods.

Mom let me go outside.

I was thrilled.

I ran off the porch

(not really cause I don't do that)

and down the steps

to chew on my beloved green stuff.

YUM !!!

Here's a close up of the Violets that Mom likes.

She gets all excited when she sees them.

Me, I don't know.

I've tried chewing them but I like the green stuff more.

While I was out and about

these two were making noise.

How's a girl supposed to enjoy her outing with all that going on.

I can't really complain cause I was out

and these two weren't.

I just love Spring !!!

I should have titled this,
 Almost Tuesday With Meredith Ann.

It's early evening and the day just got away from me.

Had this and that to do.

Busy doing nothing and a lot.

One of those days.

I just now have sat down to write out my thoughts.

I tried to download a few photos but

 this den puter doesn't want to do that.

Been having troubles with this one.

Makes all sorts of motor inside noises.

I am helpless with these things.

So, today there will be no new photos of  my Miss Floof.

Her nickname. One of them. There are a lot.

She is currently napping on the kitchen table.

Was on the blanket on top of the couch.

She likes to be up high.

The puppy can't visit her that way.

Her orange brother, Riley, can't either.

She likes seeing and not being seen.

Except from me. She always loves a good chin rub.

So, instead of Meredith talking to you all on her Monday

I am chit chatting a bit over my orange cinnamon tea.

Was listening to Adele sing.

To be that talented.

Blows this old cat lady away with what she can do.

She's gorgeous too by the way.

For all those ridiculous fashion odd things

that mentioned that she was not.

I say go back under the rock you obviously came from.

The rest of the show was odd.

The real talent was a girl dressed in black.

Ok, there were a few but some just dance and sort of sing.

And, that is my feeling for this Monday.

I still don't like that it's dark by five.

Looking forward to it being lighter out.

Spring is nice.

I think it's on the way.

The frogs in my woods were starting up yesterday.

Birds were singing a bit this morning.

Had to go out with no shoes to refill the bird tv for Riley.

It's been a busy sort of day here in the woods.

So, hopefully my camera and computer will be getting along

next week and I'll be able to show you my lovely Ms. Floof.

Oh, those were the days my friends

I thought they would never end

Do you know that song ?

What a Purrfect Summer I had.

Like the wind blew in over night.

Fall has arrived.

My porch is wet.

I can't go outside like I want.

(I've asked Mom to remodel the house for me.

Add an awning or something to the porch area

so I can go outside during the wet and cold season.

I'm going to go stir crazy if I have to stay

inside with my other Purr Brothers and Sister.)

Luckily for me, we have the beach place.

It does have the over hang on the deck.

I can sit outside on it and not get wet.

Even though Mom says I should come in.

I don't.

She gets me after a while.

She's just that way.

That's why I like her.

This last weekend, we sat in the rocking chair.

Just her and me.

I purred my heart out.

She heard me.

It's love I tell ya.

Mom says I'm healing her soul.

(She's still sad about losing Bella.)

Ah, it's nothing Mom.

I'm here for you but you better get working

on that deck for me.

We had sunshine !!!

Mom got so excited.

She even bought a hanging basket.

(Costco for $19.99)

I checked it out.

I'm ok with it.

Matches my furs nicely, I think.

Later when it was really nice,

I sat on Mom's lap

in a rocking chair

getting my furs warm.

We drove to and from

with me checking out the road.

always snoopervising

whatever I can.

My this week just flew bye ...

As you can see by the photo above,

Mom took me to the beach place .. again.

She even made my Silly Siamese sister,

 Jasmine,

come along.

Jazz doesn't enjoy car rides like I do

 but she sure had fun in the sun.

She walks all over while I sit and observe.

Being the blogging cat that I am.

Have to have things to write about don't I ...

I was thrilled to get away for the weekend.

Mom left my bros at home.

Big YEAH !!!

Jazz and I did a Kitty Cat High Five

when Mom wasn't watching

of course.

Mom said it was going to be one of the last ..

if not the last ..

nice sunny weekends.

She made Dad bbq and go on walks.

Now, we are at home.

It rained a lot.

And, it's very muggy.

I'm back to my bonus room.

Mom brings me food and pets me a lot.

She loves it when I PURR for her.

What a girl has to do to keep her Mom happy ...

I sure wish all you cats out there in blogland

could have been on the deck with me

and my Silly Siamese sister.

She's kind of funny

rolling around

and chasing pinecones.

Thus, the Silly Siamese ...

Oh the week I've had ...

You wouldn't believe what I had to put up with.

As you can see, I'm in my carrier.

Traveling and blogging are my new thing.

This week has been a doozy.

And, I don't care how that word is spelled.

Last week I told you how I've been

 living in the bonus room.

My get away from my bros.

People, I won't mention names,

have been putting big boxes in my room.

Another human, again no names,

has been running on that metal thing.

Silly me, I thought it was used

to put those big boxes on.

Nope, noise galore this week.

What's a girl to do ?

I tell ya ...

So, I spent some of my time in the window.

What did it do ?

Rained like

... yes, I'm going to say it...

CATS and Dogs

At one point, I let Mom, take me back

 to the warm lamp by her puter area.

There I contemplated my sad long haired kitty life.

Just when I thought all was lost.

The black birds found the owl in the woods.

The noise was so loud

I had to jump off my table

and go to the window.

Ahh, fresh air

Trees blowing in the wind

Making the trip worth while.

After a while when Mom didn't see me

I ran through the hall and settled back

in my big bonus room

Quiet ...

At least for now

Don't really know what Mom

was up to but I was busy.
