My Heart Cat

This is my Lilly Ann.
She was my very feral Lynx Point Siamese.
She was my heart kitty.
She loved only me.
She past away a few years ago
but is and always will be in my heart.

~ ~ ~
I had my heart surgery yesterday.
It took a bit over four hours.
I went home very late yesterday evening.

It did not work.
My heart still beats as high as 194.
My Dr. sat in my rooming
looking at my heart monitor
for half an hour.

He sent me home.
Said his nurse would be calling me.
He said, if his team was still there,
he'd have taken me back
in for more surgery.

Thus, I will have to do this again.
This time with no pain medication.
As he feels, that is why he couldn't find the cause.

Today, I am very tired.
Feel like my heart was in a punching match.
I've been dizzy most of the day.

At least I tried.
He tried.
What else can anyone do ?

I was supposed to feel better.
Instead, I am worse.
I hope it's just all the meds they shot into me.

And, tomorrow I expect to wake up
and be refreshed.

One can hope.

Remember to pet those purr and fur balls from me.

Oh, my. I am sorry this didn't work out for you. Surgery can be exhausting - so let's hope that's why you are tired; that and the fact that your heart is beating two to three times what is normal. *NEXT TIME* it will go better. Hugs to you, JC.

Lilly Ann is such a pretty girl!!!

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
