Over Here In The Fog

This morning it was Foggy ...
Kind of spooky out
The chill of Fall is here

I hope it warms up
Like it did yesterday

Sunday was one of those 'memory' days
The kind you want to 'stop' in time

I told Mr. Boatman I'd like to have my world
Stay the same .. Just for a while

I don't want my cats or dogs to get any older
I don't want to get older either

Our world has had a lot of bumps lately
It's rare that we have a Peaceful Day
I'd just like it to stay that way for a bit longer

Just Wishing Over Here In The Fog

We are inthe fog here too - mountain fog. Our Tabitha tabby does have spots on her belly - just liek your Ashton! I know the feeling of wanting it all to stay the same. That is what memories are for.

It would be nice sometimes if things didn't change quite so rapidly.

Glad you had a nice day.

I know what you mean about stopping time. My kitties are pretty old, my dad and mom are way up there and I'm rapidly going downhill it seems. September would be a good time to freeze.

I wish I could savor the times I relax, however, I forget to do so at those times. Good for you, JC, for having a nice day yesterday.

Ah if only things could stay the same for a long time - they can do. I think it is important to make sure you cherish the things you love and notice them and give thanks everyday and then the time will linger a bit and you will get the best out of them and everyday will be fuller and more rewarding xxx

It was just one of those days ..
Mr. Boatman had been gone a whole week ...
He was happy & I was feeling a bit better ...
We got a lot done in the yard ...
The Sun came out & we went in the hot tub ...
Dogs & Cats were being cute ...
I looked around & thought ...
I want to freeze this day ...

And, I have in my memory ...

I agree time goes by so quickly. It would be nice to stop time during those precious moments of life.

As I get older a day without trouble is a good day.

I know what you mean about stopping time. I feel that way more and more recently. I spend most of my time working and it seems that the years are just passing by faster than ever. I hope you have many more days like this one...you deserve it!

I love that photo of the ocean fog!!! I embiggened it, and loved it even more!!!

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
