Super Puppy or Friday Updates

This face is what I see when I get up in the morning.

I think about being quiet while I get up

so that maybe she won't hear me.

I might be able to feed the cats

and jump back in bed.

Nope, she is super puppy.

She hears everything.

In the hallway she waits.

 I go downstairs.

This is what I see.

She looks so sweet.

I let her outside.

Only this sweet super hearing puppy

wakes me up at two yesterday and today

.. pause for a moment ...

four thirty.

Yeah .. are we cheering for four thirty.

What ?

No accidents though so that is what matters .. right.

Who could be mad at this face ?

So, coffee in my Eeyore cup

is needed for sure.

And of course it's in an Eeyore cup,

doesn't everyone do that ?

She's Here !!!

It Sleeps !!!

This is Jodie Isabella.

I got her on January 1st.

She barked most of the first night.

Meaning that I got no real sleep.

I slept a bit better last night.

I believe I am too old for this.

Oh well, too late.

She really likes Maddy Jean.

Maddy sort of likes her.

I have her almost trained to go outside.

She cries for me when she needs to

go venture in the back yard.

Only it's three times in the middle of the night.

I'm having my first cup of coffee.

Listening to the garbage trucks.

Wondering if I will ever feel rested again.

(Jodie Isabella is a Rough Collie.

We made up her first name.

Jo is from a cat I had twenty years ago.

Die is from the name of my first Golden Retriever.

And, Isabella is after my Sweet Sabrina Isabella.

I think we will end up calling her

Jodie Belle.)

We pick her up on January 1st, 2012.

She is the little one in her litter.

In the photo, she's next to her brother,

who is the biggest.

We are so exited.

Jodie Belle

As many of you know,

I lost my Sweet Bella

very suddenly in August.

Since then, my heart has been healing.

I've been looking for a new friend for

my heartbroken, Maddy Jean.

And believe me she was and still is a sad dog.

After almost four months of searching,

I have found my new love.

She is a Rough Collie puppy.

Born on my daughter's birthday.

I will be getting her on January 1st of this year.

Her name is currently Dove.

After a long this and that decision making process,

I have a name for my new girl.

She will be called

Jodie Belle.

The name is a combo of previous pet names.

I'll be updating you on her when I can

but just know that I am absolutely thrilled.
