It Sleeps !!!
This is Jodie Isabella.
I got her on January 1st.
She barked most of the first night.
Meaning that I got no real sleep.
I slept a bit better last night.
I believe I am too old for this.
Oh well, too late.
She really likes Maddy Jean.
Maddy sort of likes her.
I have her almost trained to go outside.
She cries for me when she needs to
go venture in the back yard.
Only it's three times in the middle of the night.
I'm having my first cup of coffee.
Listening to the garbage trucks.
Wondering if I will ever feel rested again.

(Jodie Isabella is a Rough Collie.
We made up her first name.
Jo is from a cat I had twenty years ago.
Die is from the name of my first Golden Retriever.
And, Isabella is after my Sweet Sabrina Isabella.
I think we will end up calling her
Jodie Belle.)

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd want a "baby" in the house at my age, either, but the plus is matures a lot faster than human babies. LOL.

I'm so glad we will be able to be a part of this via your blog. Well, except for the getting up in the night part, lol. She is beautiful and Maddy will be a big help in getting her used to the routines. Congratulations!

Oh, I like the way she looks up to Maddy Jean. There is adoration in those eyes. MJ will mellow when their play time (and ability/size) evens out. What fun. Except for the 3 AM thing.
Adorable! Don't worry, she'll grow fast and then you'll be wondering where the puppy time went!
She is too cute for words, I am so happy for you all. I love the way you came up with her name, I have done this also combining names of my most cherished pets.
She is a pretty little girl! And of course you will get to sleep through the night, in a while. I bet you said that every time you had a baby, of whatever species...
