Last Night I

The coffee this meowning needs to be powerful

Full of magic

Nothing like it in the world

Last night I got no sleep

Ok, maybe a wink or two

But seriously what the heck

Rain, More Rain,

Oh let's get a bit louder

Pouring, Hill sides coming down

kind of pouring

Cats, dogs, all on the bed

I knew I should have gotten a King

instead of a Queen

That was my h's decision

Oh no we don't need that size

Right, yes we do

This meowning I feel like I survived

the battle of all battles

The storm that wasn't lost

I'm worn out

And the day has just begun

Bark Anyone ?

After last weekend and a couple of days this week,

I have decided that I need HELP.

A few phone calls and emails later,

I have a couple of leads on

Yard Landscapers.

(I need trees pulled, weeds dug up,

bark put out, trim this tree,

put in that one, you get the idea)

One is showing up in an hour

and the other does lots of the yards

in my neighborhood.

I'm going to see him next week.

Both have names and accents that I can't understand

but if they know how to weed, bark and mow

and find my once upon a time bricks

that line my yard,

they can have the job.

(course I'll be hoping for the best price)

I tried to cut this and that.

Pull that weed and cut that vine.

I hurt in places I didn't even know existed.

I tried to hire my two teenagers.

They declined.

(can we all say spoiled rotten brats together in a very loud voice)

Hard work is only for me, I guess.

Thus, I'm going to pay someone

LOTS of money to make my view nicer.

Oh, I mean the Purr & Fur Gang's view.

I hope to get them to put in a nice rose garden for me.

Wouldn't that be fun ...

It's Monday Meowning with Meredith Ann

Not a bad way to start the day

She came with me to our beach house

She doesn't mind traveling

And, she needs to feel like a special kitty

So, in the carrier she goes

Sitting on my lap

Mewing every once in a while

She loves the beach house

She comes alive there

Here she is mostly in the bedroom / bathroom area

Getting braver everyday though

It's her brother, Riley, that causes trouble

I carried her downstairs this meowning

She is watching bird tv in the living room

The road trip went well

I posted a few of the back seat photos

Not bad for going fast in farmland

My son actually liked two of the schools

One is small and one is not

Either one would be great

Now, to apply and get in

Mr. Boatman took the week off

He and the son drove us

I was in the back with all the extra stuff

Was fun to see the other side

of the Mountains

Where it snows and is hot

We got the rain and the wind

even a bit of snow going home

Driving over the pass

Yesterday we took it easy

Had a pre made meal from Costco

Mr. Boatman has a cold

and I was busy doing

laundry

Today it is quiet

Just me and the Purr & Fur Gang

and my 'to do' list

And, as my daughter says,

Peace Out

And, I think I will
