( a photo I found which looks a lot like previous cats I've had.
Thomasina and Sapphire.)
~ ~ ~
It's Tuesday in my woods.
Lots of noise today.
Garbage trucks.
Bark being delivered.
(that time of year)
My Purr and Fur Gang are doing fine.
The cats have been quiet.
Sitting in the sun the last few days.
Meredith Ann went out for her first
walk about the back porch area.
She is the only member of the purr gang
who will let me put a leash on her.
She explores.
Sits in the sun.
Doesn't mind most noises.
If the others, could do that,
they'd be outside too.
The dogs are loving the nicer weather.
If I stand out on the deck,
they play and roll and have a grand time.
Me, I'm doing ok.
Each week is better.
I've had a few setbacks
but I am still hopeful
that this lousy surgery has fixed
my terrible kidney.
Course, I thought the previous surgery
had done that.
That's where the being hopeful comes in.
What else can I do ?
I have two more weeks til my
next surgery which will
remove the remaining stent.
(when you have major kidney surgery
you are sent home with
several 'extras' which get
you through til your six
weeks are up.)
Not fun but all part of the deal.
At this time, it's been decided
that I will not have heart surgery.
My meds have calmed it down.
Course whenever I have another
surgery, it will do it's thing
but til then, I think I'll just
take my meds and pretend.
The good thing about all of this
is that it's helped me lose
a bit of my
old lady who lives in the woods
weight.
I hope, see I do that a lot,
to keep it off.
Who cares how I lost it,
I just want it to stay away.
And, that is my
Tuesday from the woods update.

Hey, I'll hope with you! And Meredith Ann allows a harness? Admiral said the heck you say!!! when mommy tried that with her.
Annie didn't mind a harness either, actually, but then she would go crazy in the house, wanting back out by throwing herself at the door. Even though she and Chumley had my enclosed back space!
Fingers crossed for the stent removal, and of course continued purrs from the boys.
I am sure glad to hear you are doing pretty good, we will take a good update like that and keep sending you purrs.
I am glad you are feeling much better, I hope it continues xxx
My kitties are free to come and go as they please. It's always been that way, and they do fine. Two of them hardly leave the yard; they know where their food source is.
Glad that you're feeling better. Weight loss by medical procedure is still weight lost! I'll hope long with you that it stays gone.
I'm glad you are better. Surgery is no fun.
So glad things are looking a little brighter for you!!! And with the weather improving on a daily basis, you will soon be able to start walking again!! That always helps me!!! Take care!!!
Sounds like you have the right attitude! Keep it up!
Soon the weather will allow you to sit outside and enjoy some sunshine!
Wishing you a Happy blessed Easter! xo
