Melting Tides

As the window fell,
I saw the aspects of you.
Hidden within the shine.
No gathering of thoughts.
Just waves of knowing
that the way you were,
was sitting on the edge.
Always looking below
to see if the winds were near.
Nothing blocked me from
the thoughts of looking
towards the inner glow.
Tilting forward to catch
the melting tides of
what I knew.

That is just wonderful. It brought a tear to my eye (and a bit of jealousy because I know I couldn't ever write anything like that even though I wish I could).

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
