Update on Riley

A Late Friday Afternoon Update on my Sweet Riley
He is home for the night.
 Just picked him up.
Going back in tomorrow morning for more tests.

What's wrong with him ?
Really bad infection. On meds for that.
He has a possible ribbon in his intestines.
He also has blockage going on.
If by tomorrow, he hasn't 'moved'
this blockage, we will need to operate.
His outside tests will be
back on Monday.

My Riley is not out of the woods.
Why did this happen to him ?

We do know that it's not
 kidney or liver problems.
Cancer is a big possibility.

He is home and seems a bit better.

Thanks for all your Purrs  for him.
If you could meet him, you'd understand
what a special orange boy he is.

I now am going to have a glass of wine
It's been a stressful couple of days

Sorry to hear about riley. Last Wednesday, one of my grandkids dogs died suddenly. She was fine on Tuesday. Monday morning she was laying down and didn't get up but wagging her tail. Daughter had to get the kids to school and herself to work. Called her husband to check on the dog mid-day and she had died. We have no idea what happened. No one expected her to die when they saw she wasn't well that morning. The kids were heartbroken and my daughter feels so guilty.

Purrs and tail wags for Riley. Hope he won't need surgery.

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
