I just came back from shopping at PetSmart
I am very happy to report that Hazel was adopted yesterday
YEAH for her and me too
I did have to visit with two lovely ladies who need homes
Could have taken the calico home with me today
The other cat with her sneezed and that made me think
Twice
So, I said I would think about it
If she's there the next time I go ... I probably will
That's kind of how I do things
I bought new bird suet containers
Mine broke this morning when I was refilling them
Also, got a big sack of seed
Mr. Boatman left this morning for his two week
Trip around the world
No, really
In two weeks, he will take three ten hour flights
Plus, a few more
What you have to do to keep a job
Now a days
Got the makings for French Dips
Going to make that for dinner
Also, got one slice of chocolate cake
They sell them and son and I
will cut it in half
Dessert without too much guilt
Bella continues to do well
No more meds
Except her normal arthritis one
I'm now taking them both out
At the same time
When I take Bella out back
I bring my handy dandy water sprayer
If Maddy Jean gets too excited
Which she always does
A squirt in the face with water
Does the trick
(I watch Dog Whisperer)
And, that lovely cats & gardeners
And designers and in general
Very interesting bloggers
Is my Sunday Afternoon

Oh I get to be the first comment??
Hey, Janet, glad to hear Bella is recovering okay.
How are you feeling today?
It has been too quiet around the purrgang without your voice!
Loves & Hugs!

That's funny! I have to use our indoor "squirter" to keep Loki under control. I don't know why, but early morning, after breakfast, he goes after Pepper and bites him and all kinds of horrendous shrieking ensues. This time I caught Loki, sprayed him and locked him in a part of the basement where he couldn't get to Pepper - well, actually, he couldn't get anywhere else. I let him out after a few hours. I don't know what else to do and silly Pepper, who's bigger and stronger, simply won't stand up for himself.
JC, I forgot the sugar in that cookie recipe. It's now been corrected, so pop over and get the right version before you make them. Sorry about that!! :P
We (the cats) came from Petsmart and our human volunteered there for a long time in the adoption center cleaning and feeding the kitties. It's always a relief to see one more adopted. They catch the sneezes a lot from each other, usually minor stuff.
Hello, I'm glad to hear that Bella is doing so well, and that it takes just a squirt of H2O to keep Maddy Jean in her place. Quel surpris!
Your package arrived safe and sound. Thank you very much. Cats are really enjoying killing and re-killing that mousebird! Fun to watch.
I need to refill my suet feeders, noticed they were almost empty this morning.
Good news about Bella;)

That chickadee (?) looks happy.
Looks like the birds are really enjoying the new suet feeders!! Glad Bella is doing much better.
So glad Hazel got adopted!
Yep, it's a Blackheaded Chickadee ... I think ...
I've asked for a new bird book as my Holiday gift
I was glad that Hazel got a home. I went down there to check on her .. oh and to get the bird supplies too.
Now, I'm thinking I may have to go back and get the tortie that I was talking too.
I really don't need another cat though ... that's why I said I would think about it. I could have taken her home right then but I thought ... stop and think about this.
Which I am doing ...
Glad to hear that Bella is feeling better! :o) We have chickadees too and when our suet runs out, then SCAREAM from the trees!
That is good about Bella. We thinks that bird is interesting!
Sounds like a busy weekend to us!!
Smooches.
Thank you for your well wishes you left on my blog...I do love your sweet images of that cute little bird on your feeder. I must get one of those!
Glad you and Bella are both getting better!!
Speaking of adopting cats, I am not sure how much longer I can put it off. I said we had to wait till we were financially stable, (which might happen by spring, keeping my fingers crossed) but it is getting harder and harder! The only way I have managed to wait this long, is to insist the next cat has to have extra toes!!!
Judy ~ Riley has 'extras' on all four paws. He's a trouble maker. Can stand on his wide back paws .. like a kangaroo. You're asking for trouble.
Oh, and he walks like a model coming down the runway ... he has the mitten front paws and doesn't know that he is 'special'.
He does get his toes stuck in the carpet sometimes but he just YELLS for his Mom .. to help.
He is an absolute love ...
Let me know if you do get one or two ...
