Progress was made

It's the end of Summer at my house
My daughter already went back to college
My son goes to High School tomorrow
The leaves are starting to fall
On my lawn & driveway
The chill is in the morning air
I was thinking about
What I wanted to do
And what I actually got done
The weeds that I pulled
Have grown back
The lawn isn't as green
As I would like it
My house is getting fixed
Slowly
The paint has been picked out
But who knows when it will be done
Inside I have lots of things to clean up
The bonus room was supposed  to
Be totally cleared out
Now it looks worse than it did before
I'm fine with it all
Progress was made
I had a Grand Time
Which is what I like about
Summer
How was your Summer ?
Did you do what you had planned ?

Mom says LOL at the qoute of yours about the rain finding its way to tents! But, it's true...sometimes here anyway...

The camping looks so enjoyable. No, we did not get one thing done this summer.

With all the rain we experienced here in Maine not much on my "to do" list got accomplished! Pray for an Indian Summer!

I really like the camping photo! And congratulations on making progress - I'm envious. I feel like we spent all summer just keeping things together - maybe fall will be easier!

I always enjoy camping at Deception. Nothing better than sitting around a campfire. :-)

Gorgeous camping photo - love how the light comes through the trees. I didn't do a lot this summer. Mainly a few festivals and working towards this weekends house move. Once that is over I can relax a little and I'll pop up to Scotland for a few days. Then I need to direct my attention to October - we are going to the US for the first time in over 15 years! xxx

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment! I love yours so far -- will read more later!

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
