Cats Sleep Anywhere

Cats sleep anywhere, any table, any chair. Top of piano, window-ledge, in the middle, on the edge. Open draw, empty shoe, anybody's lap will do. Fitted in a cardboard box, in the cupboard with your frocks. Anywhere! They don't care! Cats sleep anywhere.

Lovely photo and nice pairing with the poem. It makes me happy (and relieved) to know that someone else has "several" cats, too.

Now, four is my top number.
I had five a few years ago cause I had to get Riley

When I was younger, I had nine. Long story ...

So True

It's very rare ... that I have the opportunity to get all four of them in one photo ... as it was, I took several ... this was the best one.

Miss Sassy Siamese doesn't like her three brothers ... she was sleeping and they joined her.

What a cute poem and so true. Yours are enjoying the sun coming thru that big window.

I love that poem, but I hadn't read it in quite a while! My dad has a cat that sleeps in the sink....

I could very easily be a cat and curl up in the sun and nap.

I just left a house with three of them, and I know this post to be true!

I envy you having four cats! We are down to one, and it will have to stay that way till we win the lottery! I do have a hypothetical cat, named Thistle. Soft, whitish with extra toes. It was the only way I could handle the death of Phoebe a year and a half ago.

What a lovely photo - the light coming through the window really makes the picture!

Purrfect poem for just such a picture. Lovely!

The only way I get all of mine in one shot is at treat time, when they all surround me in the kitchen.

Gotta love those furkids. They are the light in our lives.

This is a really wonderful photo! (My cats say they are envious of that big sunny window too!)

This is very true. Riley sleeps wherever he can get his 28 pound body to stay without falling.

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
