It was a really nice Spring day.
Cold in the morning but got warmer.
Warm for me is in the 60's.
I was able to be in the back yard with my dogs.
Today no matter what I said, they had me at bark. I tell them that I won't sit out with them unless the sun is out or it's over 40. Out I went. They like me to be out there with them.
I talk to them and they play. My younger dog explores her jungle. And, I mean a jungle. Weeds and ferns. Trees and more trees. I counted one time and I think there are at least six types. My oldest dog sits in her office better known as the top of the hot tub.
She looks out at the lower part of the jungle.
Barking when needed at a neighbor dog.
Sirens are so much fun.
If you are a dog that is.
I, being a dull human, don't enjoy the high pitch as much as my Labrador.
I watch the birds, butterflies .. when they are in season,
which hasn't arrived quite yet,
trees and leaves moving in the wind and clouds in the sky.
I guess I am part dog.
I did manage to venture out to the front yard.
The weeds are out there too.
I did get the barrels by the street cleared but my old shoulder told me that was enough.
I wish it wasn't old cause I do enjoy working in the yard.
My hope is that it will stop this silly achiness soon.
It's a real pain.
The weekend is supposed to be nice.
I'll take that instead of rain anytime.

I think I'm part dog too! I hope you have a nice sunny weekend! (Mine have me at bark too)
Our dear departed Clyde, RELISHED!! howling along with the rescue and sheriff sirens. I can still see him tossing back his head and "ARRROOOOOING" from the depths of his belly ;)
My choc lab is the one who HOWLS ... she looks so silly but the fun she has is priceless.
I know how you feel, every joint in my body aches when it's cold and rainy.
I stood out in the rain with my Aggie yesterday. She refused to leave the overhang and do her 'thing' until I went out and got wet with her.

It has been very cold and rainy here for quite a few days now. I'm ready for a nice 85 degree beach day...
Your lab doesnt look too comfy in that chair, lol!
It is hot here already!! Grrrrr
Cute dogs! I have a chocolate lab that looks a lot like yours! Gorgeous Lilac pictures..thanks for sharing!
Hi JC! In my case, it's they have me at meow :o)
For me, yard work is therapy. But like you, this old body won't let me do what it used to be able to do. So we compromise. I do what I can each day. Still works wonders for my mind and soul.
Your furry babies are beautiful.
You asked where I live. I live in Villas, New Jersey. It is the southern part of Jersey. We have the Delaware Bay on one side and Atlantic Ocean on the other. We also have a lot of wetland area's and back bays. No matter where we go, there's water. I love it. Lisa
Temperatures in the 60's sounds great to me. We've been having some cold rainy weather in the high 40's and 50's and had to put the heat on!
Glad you got to enjoy a lovely day out observing nature with your dogs.
