How Did You Sleep ?

This is a quiet meowning.
The rain arrived during the night.
Left a moistness that took away
 my lovely sort of warm sun.
(It was warm as long as you stood in it)
It was so nice to have the last few days.
Like Spring really was thinking about
settling in and visiting.
I told the Purr & Fur Gang that
there was hope that Spring
had finally arrived.
Even though it has officially started,
it seems to have been delayed
along its way to my parts of the world.
Not to worry though,
just the idea that it's coming
is enough to bring the spirits around here up.
(Think naps in a sunny spot, birds flying by the windows)

Last night, Mr. Boatman was snoring.
 I gave up and ventured into the closet
where the soft Winter blankets live.
 I settled in with my pillow,
the soft blanket and two of my cats.
 Was thinking, now I can sleep.
Was drifting off when ...

What did I hear from the slight opening in the window ?
Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoo
That happened every other minute.
I listened for a while and
decided I had to get up and close that crack.
Just when I was snug as an old lady 
in a soft kitty cat blanket.

What this tells me is that the owl is still in my woods.
Only how do they survive when they sing all night long ?
Now, to get into that back yard and find it.
Course it won't be today but at least I know
 I have another photo adventure
in the wild back woods
scheduled for this Spring and Summer.

( I moved to the beach place and unpacked a lot of my boxes.
Came back to my woods for a couple weeks.
Will be going back and forth depending on what's going on.
The Purr Gang love the beach place.
More room and they can go out on the deck.
They are getting used to car rides.
As used to them as they can.
I guess I'm a bit of a traveler now.
Having two places that I call home.)
