Jodie Belle is enjoying her birthday present.

All four paws make noise.
Even Maddy Jean has been in on the fun.
It's lasted longer than I would ever have thought.

Tomorrow I go in for my surgery.
I'm having both kidneys worked on.
This will be my fifth surgery
in less than two years.
I think I'm ready.
I had a list and got it all done.
The lights are up in the yard.
A few at least.
Mr. Boatman wanted me to
have something to look at
while I'm stuck at home.
