Thursday In The Woods

This is what Meredith Ann has been doing.

It's another Thursday in my woods.

And, yes they belong to me.

The part I pay taxes on, at least.

 

Birds are singing.

The hots have become muggy.

It rained.

I actually had to think, what is that noise.

Isn't that the greatest.

We've had a nice Summer.

I've lived in this part of my state, my whole life.

This, I think, is one of the best we've had.

The lawns are crinkly brown though

but it's so nice to wear flip flops and shorts.

Even on a muggy sort of moist day.

 

The computer problems continue.

I need to get my nerdly husband to fix

the connection to the computer from

my camera.

He said he would but got busy.

 

He washed my car and took me out to dinner.

 I'll let it pass this time.

This weekend, I will be celebrating another birthday.

Didn't know if I'd make this time.

Was told twice this year that I probably wouldn't.

Oh well, I did .. so there.

 

What does my future hold .. don't know.

I'm living day by day.

Week by week.

 

So, here's to today.

It's been rather nice so far.

 

Oh, the purr and fur gang

say meow and woof.

No, really they've been quite talkative lately.

 

I finished my latest book.

I'll have to start the next one .. tomorrow.
