Wild Week

Riley Andrew
It's been a wild week over here in my woods.
Yesterday, I went to my heart surgeon.
Nothing like looking at a wall of pace makers
framed from big to small.
Really, it was a moment.
He wants me to have surgery right away.
I'll think about that.

I went home to my sick cat, Riley.
Riley is now in the ER.
My normal vet couldn't get him in.

They did x rays and blood work.
As of last night, nothing had changed.
They will call me in a few hours.

He won't eat.
Was throwing up bile.
Hiding in the closet.

When it rains, it pours over here in my woods.

Just too much going on right now.

Just saying ...

Knowing nothing about your problem, Surgeons operate !!! That's what they do..Can it be managed medically?? I hope it's not too serious...

Get the pacemaker and give your old (euphamistically speaking) heart a rest before it conks out from sheer exhaustion. Just sayin'.

Poor orange kitty Riley. Hope he gets better soon as well. He's likely skeered and missing home and you and family.

Well, if your heart needs this, I have heard wonderful things from others needing ( and getting )this surgery. But there is so much going on in your woods and I am hoping & praying for you to have the wisdom & discernment to make the right decision for you.

This is a whole lot to deal with all at once. We are keeping you in our thoughts and sending lots of purrs to Riley.

I have two friends that have had pacemakers - it's been the making of them...
I do so hope that Riley is okay. I shall be thinking of you both by sending my love and positive wishes to you both.

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
