Nesting and Boating

We have a bird and a nest on our back porch at the beach place.
I've enlarged it as much as I can.
You can make out the tail.
Her Face is in the middle.
I didn't want to disturb anymore than I had.

~ ~ ~
I've had a sort of busy June.
Doing this and that and the other.
Nothing huge though.
Nothing terrible or noble.
Just living.

Last weekend, we took the boat out.
We usually have it on Lake Washington.
We went through the locks.
Had it at Bell Harbour Marina for a few nights.
Then, took it out into the sound
for our journey to the beach place.
(The space needle and some of the shoreline of Seattle)

Just thought I'd show you what I was doing
instead of blogging.

How lovely to get out on the water and have some fun! Much better than blogging. :-)

That is so cool. My Dad loves the water, except flooding waters of course. Hugs from all of us!

Thanks for being a visitor to our blog! We love it when you stop by!
The bird looks like she's being patient on her nest...let us know when the bebbehs hatch!

better to be out doing, rather than sitting home, I think....
I had not realized that Ottawa is so unusual in its tree policy. They own the tree, and I would have been fined if I had taken it out without their permission, so they do the clean-up when it comes down, although I have someone interested in the wood, if he gets here before the wood chipper.

Do you know what kind of bird that is?? Would love to visit Seattle..One place I've always wanted to see..Glad you're having fun..

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
