Thursday In The Woods

Not much going on over here.
Spring has arrived.
Birds are singing early in the morning.
That wakes Jodie Belle up.
She then starts to bark.
At the birds or the cats, I'm not sure.

So, up I get to take her out.
Nothing like four thirty and darkness.
Back we go to settle in for an hour or so.
Not to sleep but snuggle with a cat or dog.

My back has decided not to get better.
I finished my week of steroids.
Things seemed to be improving.
Less pain. Less screaming.
Two days off the steroids and I'm a mess.

Starting physical therapy tomorrow.
I really hope it helps.
Cause I'm getting just a bit crabby.
(On week three of this pinched nerve.)

Cats have all been getting along.
Which is rare for this cat house.
My boys don't like my girls.
And, my girls run from the boys.

Both dogs are enjoying going outside.
Has been sort of nice out.
Have finally gotten a few photos

of Jodie Belle that aren't a total blur.

My list of things to do is still long.
Being out of it for three weeks has delayed
getting this and that put away and cleaned.

Oh well, at least I have cute cats to sit with
and dogs to keep me occupied

over here in the woods.

Good luck re: the pt, we hope it helps. Ugh. Can only imagine the pain and how limiting this is for you, and send purrs and purrayers and healing vibes.

Hope the pt works well for you and you're soon feeling MUCH better. In the meantime your health is far more important than those jobs.
Best wishes

Hallo! We see we have a new friend! Thank you for visiting our bloggie. We see you have some health problems. We are so sorry about that - we will purr very hard for you and hope that, despite everything, you will continue to find purr-leasure in the woods and in your kitties and woofies and in your writing.

I hope physical therapy helps, a hurting back is the worst!!

feel better

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
