This meowning while helping Mom write my blog,
my brother, Riley, walked by.
I just gave him the Ms. Floof look.
He knew what I meant.
He is my trouble.
My pain.
He chases me.
I scream.
Mom saves me.
Mom yells at him.
Never at me.
(Ok, sometimes when I put my toes
where they don't belong
but that's not often cause
I'm Meredith Ann after all. )
The sun was out this weekend.
Mom let me out a lot.
I sat on the deck and listened to the birds.
They fly by for my entertainment.
Mom says she likes living in the woods.
I know what she means.
I'm hoping for more of Spring
to arrive here in my woods.
Mew at you next week,
~ Meredith Ann ~
Note From Mom ~
The box is an old one that I let
them do their toes on.
We are still in paint mode
over here in this old house
in the woods.
Thus, the box to entertain
Meredith Ann and Riley.

Dids u knoh dats we hads tornadoes in Kansas? And sumbuddy found a kitten in da rubble made by da storm!
I like your poem. Have you met my brother, Seville? He's a bit of a poet, too.
I have a friend who says,"Put a box on the floor, there's a cat in it." And she posts the pictures to prove it.
My cats like neither boxes nor cat beds. They like chairs.
You sound like you might be related to my AAB's home-cat, Kitty. She is tormented by the dumb and obnoxious Oreo.
Stay strong, Meredith Ann! Sometimes a well-timed swat will do the trick.
We love boxes! Our mom has saved some big boxes for us to play in. She keeps threatening to throw them away.
