No One Would Know

~ ~ ~ ~
As she thought of the things left to do, she smelled the lavender blend in the air. Trying to enjoy that moment while figuring out the rest of her day. There should be just enough to breath in between. She went over it again while the smells drifted near her. Why must it be that everything happens at the same time ? Plans had already been made. Relax and enjoy the rest of the afternoon. Not today. Rush from place to place instead. She kept telling herself not to worry. She had it covered. Time was her friend today. She'd make it to everything with a smile. Ok, not really but she'd make it with time to spare. If afternoon traffic was informed of her need. As it was, she was running a bit late. The first part of the day went long. They didn't know she was running while walking. Who would know that ? At the end, she got home and looked at the clock. She'd done it all and no one would know how close it came.

Mom said she can relate to that very well and that she smiled that you were able to salvage the day. xox

I was thinking, "She did it all and no one knew how close she came" would make an interesting epitaph, one that could be interpreted in various ways.

(Slight digression there from your intended meaning!)

Hello
Lilacs & Cats
Amazing blog post as always! I am very glad to see your post, I located what I was in search of here
Thank you!

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
