Mondays With Meredith Ann

It's Me, Meredith Ann.

I'm in my bonus room.

Mom took my photo while I was

looking at the icy trees

that are outside of my window.

I spend most of my time on top

 of the old entertainment center.

It's mine now.

Mom has it all set up for me.

The other cats visit me but

most of the time the room is all mine.

I like it that way.

I'm kind of shy.

I know, you wouldn't know that but I am.

Some of my brothers,

Riley and Al,

are kind of not nice to me.

Mom tells me to just yell at them

but I get scared instead.

Thus, I get my own place.

When I'm brave, I venture down the stairs,

and visit Mom and that new puppy.

I like sitting on the blanket and doing my toes

while I look at the birds.

And, that is my update for this cold Monday.
