I lasted another week !!!
Lots of Paws together out there in blog land.
To entertain me, my Mom got me a new scratching bed.
Yes, I nap in it.
Mom sprinkled some nip.
Maybe that's why I like it so much.
Why did I get it ?
Something about me using anything wood
or almost wood for a scratching post.
Lots of yelling when I do that.
Only problem with it so far
is that 'others' are using it.
What's a furry girl to do ?
Til Next Week,
This is,
~Meredith Ann ~
( I had to entertain her.
It's been rainy.
She likes to go outside on the deck,
only it was too wet and windy.
I almost got a photo of Al
but he moves as soon
as he sees the camera.)

Hurrah for a new scratcher, Meredith Ann! But of course you need your own...so one for each of you. :-P
We're having rain today, but that's our first substantial amount since, oh, probably May. LOL.
You can have some of our usual sunshine...and some of our hot weather if you want it.
My cat Avalon always sleeps on his scratching boxes as well. Actually, the only thing he doesn't sleep in is his cat bed :-s
Sweet Praline always used her scratching post. She loved the sisal rope posts.
I'm back blogging and have started a new blog for my future furchildren. Please drop by and visit Sweet Purrfections at http://sweetpurrfections.blogspot.com

Meredith Ann, It's too bad that your housemates bother you by using your brand new scratching bed. I think you might have to suck it up and take the high road here and just (ahem) SHARE. It's mostly yours - and you DO want to keep them out of your whiskers and away from your floof. Right?
Ozabella loves her scratching box -- me? I don't get it....
We want to be sure and thank you for leaving kind words upon Jack's passing over the Rainbow Bridge. Our cat and cat-loving friends are helping us immensely in recovering from the loss. Baby has deeply grieved, but is doing much better with right attention and love.
