Shock of Shocks
It's Monday and I'm blogging on the right day.
This photo was taken while I was enjoying
the smells of the lavender
and the birds singing in the trees.
Mom, of course, had her camera ready.
This week you get to enjoy my tail.
That's why I'm called Miss Floof.
Some have asked if Mom actually went on her canoe ride.
Yes, she did.
It was short though.
Mom likes to see the bottom.
None of this deep stuff for her.
Mr. Boatman kept trying to go out further.
There was a bit of "head into shore" heard.
Mom thinks it was a success.
No major panic attacks.
She even said she'd try it again.
Only the shallow water of course.
This week we are still at the beach.
The roof back home is being replaced.
We get to stay here til it's done.
I'm not too worried.
I like this deck.
It's just the kind of cat I am.
Til next week,
This is

Meredith Ann, you can blog on whatever day you choose, you're a Cat, after all.
Good for your mom! Ours can't swim (dog-paddling doesn't really count), so she'd be leery of going out in a canoe, unless she had a life vest on. And even then, she'd want to be in easy distance of the shore! :-)
Good luck with your roof and in the meantime, enjoy your deck time.
We don't blame Mom for not wanting to go in deep water! You are just lovely Meredith Ann.
so happy to visit with you today, meredith ann...you are a lovely girl....
