I love these. That's one thing I do know. |
My life has had ups and downs.
Been a bumping road to say the least.
I'm harder than I ever thought I'd be.
My levels of forgiveness are less.
I search for peace and quiet.
I don't know the road in front of me.
Just hope that it's a quiet one.
Maybe I will find myself again.
It seems to have been lost along the way.
Always being this and that and now what.
As I figure this out, I will have my gang with me.
If I go, so do they.
Boxes are packed.
Moving van is coming this weekend.
I will miss what I have known.
I will start new.
After all I am a survivor.
I think life is just too much fun.
I don't have the answers for anything.
I will figure things out as I go.

jc i must have missed something...so you all are moving? yes the furry babies will always be by your side. take care!
Lots of (((hugs))) and Light.
I hope your move goes smoothly for you and the fur gang. Are you staying in WA?
I am moving to our vacation home near Olympia. After 30 years, I am in the midst of a separation. Going to live by myself with the purr and fur gang.
I am a bit sad to be leaving my woods with it's birds, owls and dare I say bears.
The vacation place has seagulls and eagles. Oh, and lots of deer.
I plan on finding out who I am. I have played so many roles and now I need to refind me.
It's down a long long road .. seven miles to a tiny grocery store.
Will be lots of time to find what it is that means the most to me.
JC~ wishing you well on your new journey, remember the old adage.... what does not kill you makes you stronger~
You have such an adventure ahead of you. try it all.
I have missed a few of your posts and this one has saddened me.I hope you find the comfort and solace you need and all the while know the company of cats and dogs will help you.
You are moving very close to me... the rain and wildlife is still abundant around here, even in the urban areas. Olympia has the waterfront and many places to stop in and have a cup of good coffee. Blessings and prayers for you.
JC~ The chocolate eclair was distracting me so...I was trying to read the poem & I kept hearing...eat me, eat me... So I had to re-read but scroll up so that damn eclair would stop it!
Well, that is a journey indeed that you are heading for. My prayers & love is sent to you. So glad your Fur Gang will help you along. They are such wonderful unconditional lovers.
Keep on writing, keep us posted, and enjoy what God has in store for you.
Love to you~
Kathy ~ my new place is in Thurston County near Steamboat Island. If you live near there, come visit on a sunny day.
Janis ~ Thank You !!! It's a bit scary but I'm still going on with it.
On the threshold of a new beginning is actually pretty amazing. I believe you will make it wonderful!
Everyday Goddess ~ I'm a bit excited to be honest.
Take lots of those gooey yummy treats with you ... they keep in a freezer (I can attest to it.)
Wishing you peace, renewal, good times.
