There has been a time when no one knew.
They wandered listening to the flow.
Would the reasons assure them of their rights.
The walk was long.
The spent energy gone.
Each time they tried they grew weary.
Towards the end there was a feeling.
Something told them.
They just knew.
The question that had been in the back of their head.
Shaking with the inevitable they ventured on.

I like this very much. It's sounds good when read aloud.
That was very nice! I guess sometimes the flow just doesn't.
The poem's flow is really good. It doesn't give a lot of details, but a story is told; one of enlightenment. I love these lines:
"Towards the end there was a feeling.
Something told them.
They just knew."
Oh so nice!
You described man's struggle to move forward in this world quite well.
It is about keepin' on...nice piece, to be sure!
Nice work - hope all is well with you.
In response to my blog....I would like summer back too!
Thanks for coming by on my birthday.

We like the poem! You have a good way with words.
That's very pretty.
Thank you for your kind words on Gatsbi's passing over on Sunday. She will be dearly missed here at Forty Paws. Maw is still crying and looks for her in the mornings at tuna time and in the evenings when it's time for Gatsbi to be held.
Luf, Us and Maw
