Here I am
in my area
in the bonus room.
I call it my place away from
my orange brother.
For some reason he hasn't figured
out how to get to it.
I jump to the window.
From the window,
I fly to the computer desk.
I walk around the back of the computer.
I walk across to the shelf.
Then I walk up to the
old entertainment center.
That's where I am in this photo.
Mom has brought me a
blue dish and a nice towel to sit on.
She also has cleared off the two shelves
so I can sit there when I want.
She sort of had to since I was dropping
her old stuffed animals
on the floor or in my water dish.
Do I have her trained or what ?
I took care of Mom most of the week.
She really was out of it with
her cold and throat thing.
She's still having sinus trouble but
at least she's up and about
and petting me extras
for taking such good care of her.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you.
I've been with Mom for a whole year.
She got the license renewal in the mail which means it was a whole year ago that she adopted me from
Purrfect Pals in Renton.
I was very sad there.
Here I'm still quiet but
I'm having the time of my life.
Mom spoils me which she tells me I deserve.
She says she does it for all of those
cats and kittens that she can't adopt.
Imagine me in my bonus room
getting spoiled.
I know I've got it good don't I ....
Til next week,
~Meredith Ann ~

Congrats on being with your mommy for a whole year! Spoiled? I don't think so....you are just overly loved! Nothing wrong with that! I hope your mommy continues to feel better....take good care of her!
Happy Anniversary! One whole year. I'm so glad you can train your mother properly.

Happy belated Gotcha Day Meredit Ann. We are glad you landed in such a great home!
We are glad your Mom is feeling better, we haven't visitied for a bit and weren't aware she was under the weather.
We notice you have Moosie on your sidebar, we sure hope she gets a home soon! We know of a couple of others that need homes too...it is so sad, so many that need homes.
Have in good time in your hidey place!
Hi Meredith Ann, my name is Casper. Your Mom reminds me so much of my Mom. She loves the ocean, reading, and taking pictures. Although she doesn't drink coffee but she does drink tea. When we clicked your blog site on Brian's comments my Mom said WOW! She loved your header picture. She also liked the story about her lilacs. We know all about the deer. We used to live in a place where there were quite a few, and yes Mom planted plants that the deer were not suppose to eat. We agree, the deer sure don't know how to read that page.
Awww, that is so sweet! Happy Adoptaversary!
The niceness of the feline.
Mieow, I am Momo, an old granny cat who blogs from her garden. I saw you over at Brian's and decide to pop over for a visit.
Happy Gotcha Day!
Happy Gotcha Day, Meredith Ann! Those days are the best. We are super duper extra glad you got gotchad by your mom. And we hope she feels better already.

Happy Gotchaday, Meredith Ann! Over this last year, you have trained your human bean very well.
Means I have been visiting for more than a year, because I remember Meredith Ann when she first arrived!
