What do you see ...

What do you see ?
Is it the image you made up ?
Is it darker in that world ?
Is there one but only in your mind ?
For that moment you linger.
Wondering if it sees what is inside.
Every once in a while the view is spectacular.
Like it captured the inner lining.
The not so distant view we used to have.
The world we wish.
Or does it sense the others around us.
The wrinkles that form.
The angles of the line.
The moments of despair.
It exaggerates.
It fills the cracks within.
The tiny spaces that we didn't see.
Before we looked into that world.

Wow, you wrote that off the top of your head, unedited? Sure, I write that way too, but it never comes out close to that good!

Amy ~ I did post it twice though. I had forgotten to add the link to the other magpie tales. I usually do just write the first things that come to my mind. Sometimes I write down thoughts and words and come back to it but normally I am busy and just do what I first thought of. In this case, I did just that.

I was thinking of an odd mirror that doesn't look like the rest of what you think it should.

Thus, the is it a different world or just the one that it wants you to see or is it what you need to see.

Halloweenish in a way ...

The contrasts of photos so often highlight the difference of what we see and what might truly be there if we saw clearly....

Beautiful.

Nice. I really like the line "Every once in a while the view is spectacular".

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
