Spring & a Log

On the first day of Spring, I went to Deception Pass.
This is a view from the top of Mt. Erie.
It is looking down at the Deception Pass area.

Me sitting on a log on the beach
(was a bit chilly but still nice out)

The ferry ride home
This is my daughter
who is visiting us
for her Spring break

Rained when we got home
but at least it didn't
while we were
out & about

I've been to Deception Pass, and I've always wanted to go back. Your pictures are beautiful and so are you and your daughter.

I was at Deception Pass twice a few years ago. One day we drove across the bridge and on another we were detoured under it while returning from Victoria on the ferry. Beautiful both ways.

You look marvelous, with your new haircut. Mine was as long as yours was and I've cut mine, too, just a little longer than yours. And you're right - Ferry rides to wonderful things to one's hair! Whose idea was it to go for a ride to Deception Pass? No matter, it was a good one.

A beach! Sigh! I don't care what the weather was like - I just want one, within a couple hours drive!

You're looking good Janet! Great shots. What a view.

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
