This & That ...

The last couple of days have been tough.
Hard.
I've been out of sorts.
I know I've been tired.
Fighting headaches.
I'm not lost just on vacation.
Maybe it's the end of the year blues.
Only I'm not really blue.
I'm more a grey blue green.
Even though I don't like green.
I'm thinking a lot.
Not crazy just wondering.
Too much sadness in the world.
Not sure what I should do.
Getting lost along the way.
Taking a break from what was.
Trying to find the new.
Figuring things out.
That kind of thing would be easy by now.
Not in my teens or my 30's.
Tomorrow will come.
I'm sure I'll be better.
Not that I'm sick.
Til then I'm going to sip some tea.
Pet a cat or two.
Talk to my girls.
Enjoy a recorded show.
When Mr. Boatman comes home
And asks what I did today
I'm going to say ..
Oh I don't know
This & that
You won't tell on me
Will you ...

We won't say a word! And I know what you mean about fighting headaches - that alone can make a person crazy but add the weather, the short days and it just stinks. I think the idea of petting some cats, having some tea and watching something (hopefully a bit mindless) sounds good to me.

It is sad that Mr Boatman is so clueless. But don't get me started on the uselessness of men. Gimme cats and more cats!!
Wish I could make all the crapola go away for you!
Take Care!

We sure wont tell. Some days are like this, reflective, thoughtful, slow. Some days should absolutely be a "just for me day" day. (or a few).

Tea and kitties sounds lovely to me.

I hope you will lift out of the blue green funk you are in. This time of year just brings it out in people. I feel more like a dull purple myself, not the usual lilac or dark purple I usually feel. I think my headache of three days is finally lifting. They leave me so tired, foggy and drained, and my hub. doesn't get it either. Have to change my music!

This is why I have cats....they are my "go to" source of happiness.

I really hope you are feeling better by the time you get this!!! Although a blue green colour could be pretty - like the ocean! I guess your blue green is not pretty, though.

It is easy to get depressed during the leaden winter. Chin up.

Maybe some catnip tea would help!

Our lips are sealed!!! It's always nice to just boycott! Hope your brainaches go away and your grey skies turn blue and sunny!

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
