Drum Roll PLEASE ...
May I introduce to you
The new lady
In my world
Meredith Ann
is her name
I went down yesterday afternoon
She was still there
I got her and brought her to her
New Forever Home
Lots of looking and hissing
Not as bad as I thought it would be
She has a weird hair cut
Ends up she must have long hair
Cause her tail is long
But her other hair is choppy looking
Lyon cut ... I am thinking
She was a stray they found on the street
Was at a kennel and it was her last day
This rescue group took her
She'd been with them for two months
The paperwork says she is five & 1/2
I'll take her to my vet this week to see
What they think of her
She is very mellow
Likes to be held
Is exploring the house
Not too sure of the dogs but I have nice ones
So that won't be a problem for long
No photos cause of the puter problem
I'll post some when Mr. Boatman
Gets back and fixes my puter
Til then imagine an older
Tortie lady cat with an
odd haircut and a fluffy tail
CUTE ...

Nice. She sounds like a sweetie. Kudos to you.
Awwww you are so wonderful to rescue the sweetie! We have a short-haired tortie and she is the SWEETEST! The hissing will stop soon enough once everyone is used to each other.♥
Oh can't wait to see photos of her, hope she settles in ok.

I'm so glad you found her. She is so sweet. Oh how I wish there were no homeless animals. Thank you for giving her a forever home.
Be Blessed!
What a lovely kitty and how lucky she is to be adopted into such a wonderful home.
Concats on the new addition!!
Congratulations on the new addition to your family! How lucky for Meredith Ann that she was rescued and then found you.
I hope Meredith Ann gets a clean bill of health from the vet. Can't wait for Mr. Boatman to get back so we can see pics of the little Miss. I've always wanted a tortie. Maybe next time.
Meredith Ann is so sweet! Such a gorgeous tortie and so lucky to have you guys as her forever home.
Looking forward to pictures of Meredith Ann. That is a pretty name, how did you decide on it?
Congratulations on your wonderful new addition!:)
Blessings to you! You are salve for the soul for both feline and humans.
I was touched by your gesture of kindness in adopting this orphan and for the beautiful heartfelt words of encouragement you left for me at my blog!
love and light to you my friend..xo
JC good luck with your new kittie! She's beautiful-I love her coloring!
Tortie is my favorite color pattern. Over five is a good age, past that wreck-the-house-kitten-stage;) I'm so glad she found a wonderful home.

jc, bless you! she is so beautiful! looks a bit like my callie and itty bitty (who had to be put down). i now have ANOTHER cat hanging out at the barn...very friendly but not fixed and doing the male cat thing with daddy cat. so far no scratches and fighting.
ConCats on your beautiful new addition!!! She is SO purrty!!! We are so happy she has a furrever family and home to call all her own!!! WELCOME to the CB!!!
Oh we didn't realise you gave a forever home to a new cat. And what a gorgeous lady! Concats to all of you. Meredith Ann will surely become extra floofy, that tail is promising.
