It's the Sunday after a very relaxing T Day weekend.
So nice to get away and be in the quiet world.
Peace is not enough to explain the being of this place.
The dream is to someday live there.
We took Meredith & Jasmine with us.
Meredith had a great time exploring.
She really is a sweet cat.
Likes to jump though.
Maybe that's why she has nine lives.
I came back with some new energy.
Hope to clean up this old messy house.
The yard though I will have to leave to
Mr. Boatman and his leaf eater machine.
I am so thankful for what I have.
I say a silent prayer ... my version ... each day.
For those who are in need ..
Of Hope, Peace, and Health
Lately, so many have had health problems
Several cats have past away or gotten lost
I wish there was a reason
I hope for that
For Peace
So, on this Sunday in the wet woods
Surrounded by my six Purrfect Fur Friends
I am content knowing that I tried the best I could
And, isn't that what we are all doing ...

Doing our best and being honest about it is the best any of us can do. We do what we can with what we have and call it good.
Lovely picture. You are very blessed to have a place that gives you such peace and energy.
Hubby and I were happy to read that Will had found a "forever home". I've been worried that no one was going to make room for that kitty. And it's always nice to have a convert to "shelter" from "purebred".
Splendid! I loved this!
Hi JC, thanks for visiting our bloggie today (and mentioning it on your bloggie) Looks like you live in a beautiful place, inside and out!
We're going to add you to our list of favorite blogs to read so we don't miss anything.

JC, You fought the cold and YOU won. That's good, because who wants an annoying cold? I am drinking a nice hot cup of Volcano/Bolivian (i.e. forgot what I was making, an espresso or a pot of French Press) coffee in your lovely Snowman mug. Thank you so much. I'm glad you had a restful weekend.
Glad you are feeling energized, and that Meresith is settling in!! I have ever only had shelter cats, and the one we found in a tree, never a purebred. This time, I want one with extra toes.
What a beautiful picture and post. I keep saying I will end up being the crazy old cat lady when I get older. With 3 cats and 2 dogs right now hubby says I better not "find" any more animals.♥
That was lovely!
Well said.
Breathtaking post, I can feel the
tranquility. So lovely! Have a great time!
Lovely tribute to cat friends. I miss mine. Happy Rest from the Holiday.
What a beautiful spot! I can imagine you'd love to live there some day. Glad you had a nice weekend.
That was a real nice read!
Mom knows all about messy houses! She has been cleaning up a mess the last month.... here and in a storage shed that she has!
Thank You for saying that on my blog. You look pretty good yourself, not too bad for a couple of old broads huh! You picture is beautiful, can see you sitting by a roaring fire with Mr. Boatman and enjoying the view. Seems like a place where you can find peace-of-mind. Hang in there girlfriend. Darlene
