Coffee Memo Monday

Monday Coffee Memo

Coffee ~ Seattle's Best French Roast .. very nice. Bought some vanilla lowfat powdered creamer at Safeway. Now, I will not run out and be pulling my hair out ... which I don't need help with .. it's falling out on it's own ...

Headaches ~ when will the buzz saws and blurry vision stop ? I'm not really asking I'm complaining at this point. I try to pretend that I don't have it. I eat advil like it's candy. I wish. Nothing like the leftovers of being in a coma. I'm almost at the four year mark ... I promise to stop now ... just needed to vent. It's the Siamese in me.

Painting ~ Mr. Boatman got the main part of the house painted. He's working on the trim. He got most of the front trim done. Supposed to rain for a few days. He's really busy but I will keep on him til he gets 'it' done. He volunteered to do this. I wanted to hire someone. I'm not complaining like I was before. Didn't want you to get confused.

Cats ~ Ashton is so cute. I know ... but he is. Every meowning he runs down the stairs and jumps into his box. Look at the photos from Saturday. I think the box will stay in my entry hall til it falls apart or Ashton finds another way to entertain himself.

Weather ~ It's been so nice. Sunny. Warm. Supposed to rain this week which will bring in the cooler weather. I can't believe that it will be October this week. I want June back. Give it back to me !!!

I find that with Mr. Boatman's new job ... yes, he left his other one to work for a better one .. at least that was the sales pitch that landed him. What does Mr. Boatman do you ask ? He's a phone expert. Designs the insides ... what they can do ... anyway, with this new job will be lots and lots and lots of traveling.

Which means that I, the cat lover, will be by my lonesome ... more than I usually am. What to do with this extra time ? That is the problem ...

I will be coming up with things to do ... making that list ... creating ideas ... fixing up this old house ... yes, I know that is a tv show, maybe write that novel ... ha ha like that's ever going to happen, maybe travel ... what .. where ... and who would take the purr gang ... things to ponder ...

And, with that ... I will also consider whether this blogging thing is me ... I've been doing it for a few months. I do enjoy typing out my thoughts and taking those nifty swifty photos ... but, am I a good blogger ? I don't think so. I've found some awesome blogs and some cool ones and some funny ones. I haven't quite found my nitche ... and how do you spell that word ? And, why don't they have spell check on here ?

And the most important question of the day ...
How's your coffee ?

Well, you have more followers than me so I guess you are doing something right.

That's kind of you to say ...
I like chit chatting ... does anyone say that anymore ... but, some blogs get tons of followers. The blog of the day .. well, I scratch my head sometimes with what they pick. Not you of course .. I found you on there ... Noll's Nip ...

I think I'll keep at it but I'm not sure I'm still testing the waters so to speak.

I originally wanted some place to vent about being in a coma. Coming home and relearning to walk. Looking like everything is normal when it's really not.

It's helping to talk about my life and figure out things ... I've met some fab people ... learned a lot ... about photography and writing.

It's just ... does anyone read it ... does anyone care ... and I quess a few of you do ...

I know I enjoy reading your blogs ... I don't always comment but I do visit ...

And that's my evening statements ... been fighting a big nasty migraine for the last few days ... this one literally took out my right side .. with no notice ... awe ... I survived the coma and they sent me home to live with the remains ...

See I vent too much

Oh I looked up Siamese cats today ... stop me ... I don't need more ...

I was just talking to a blogger friend of mine about how hard it is to think of posts sometimes! Sometimes I feel very non-creative.

I'm also very sorry to hear about the migraine - that must make things very difficult. Hope it goes away soon.

We hopes that you don't stop blogging! We likes your blog! Mom has thought many time of quitting blogging. Though we think that we have found some really cool blogs that are sweet and always come back to visit us when we visits them. We don't get tons of visitors ... but enough to keep us happy.

Here we have 3 cats and one large dog who (we thinks) at times that he is a cat. So we love both the cats and the dog blogs! It take lots of time and work visiting other blogs... besides doing our own!

P.S. Forgot to say that Firefox has spell check built in - I really need it!

Why do you think you aren't a good blogger? I think as long as you enjoy it that's all that matters. You have friends from all over that enjoy visiting your site and hearing what you have to say. That makes you a good blogger in my book! I do hope you continue!

I read your every post, JC, and not just for the pictures, either. I put out a box for Purnima and so far it's not a big hit. I'll try a shorter one as she's a clumsy girl.

This is a journal, not the great American novel. Keep on writing. You have 65 followers to entertain! LOL

Speaking of boxes ... Mr. Boatman just came home with a new tv for the living room. We are talking box city ... I'm going to take a photo or two now ...

What's not to like about your blog? Coffee, cars, Labs, the sea, you...I might not comment much but I read your blog.

Migraines , blurred vision and all the remnants of your coma must take a huge amount of joy out of living though and I am sorry it is so hard for you.I could not imagine living with that for very long, yet you do and you write a delightful blog.Pretty encouraging to me. Thank-you.

I just can't accept summer is over either. It was so short, it can't possibly have gone by so quickly.

Blogging is burning me out too. I had lots to write about when the garden was blooming. Now, not so much.

We would miss you if you stopped blogging! I know sometimes it is hard to find the time to do it but think of all the folks you have met!

i don't think all blogs have to be a 'niche' blog. i think bloggers are just plain interested in other people like them or at times, very different people...i love to hear what other folks do and that is why i follow them, so keep up what you are doing! your blog is perfect for you and your followers wouldn't be there if they didn't like you! i hope you recover from those 'leftovers'!

Hi JC,

I think that your blog is very good hope you do not stop blogging your blog is unique because it is yours and you are unique.
Love,
Herrad

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
