Mr. Boatman is home
He got the 2nd flight out and called when he got to San Francisco around 9 pm.
It was about thirty minutes later that my teenage daughter ... yes, a different teenager this time .. decided to explode ... like a volcano ... the things that came out of her mouth.
I won't go into details but ... we've had trouble with her before ... we thought she'd grown up a bit at college ... ends up she's a liar and mean as can be.
I have to watch every thing I say to her ... I can't forget ... even if there is a nice afternoon making cheesecake ... which there was ... and I think that's what got me off guard.
I will survive ... I have the cup for a reason ... it's just the damage she does ... emotionally and otherwise ...
So, today I will be in search of peace ... I think I won't really find it til both these teenagers our gone , out of here, bye bye ...
(Teenage boy is in a mood cause of having to go to the library to read his book. His sister .. when she erupted ... went off on him too ... no one is safe from her )
I hope you all have a PURRfect weekend. The cats and dogs .. I hope are not planning an event ... I would be so disappointed if they were tiny teenagers in furry suits ..

Sorry to hear the girl-teen in in a ranting mood. Our mom says she used to be like that when she was younger. And to think, her mom's curse worked! We have a little freshy 3 year old human sister! Hope you find some piece (our mom sometimes finds it in a bottle of wine!) We don't get how peace gets in there, but if it works, Hey...Down the hatch!
Luckily, my animals never have emotional outbursts--except happy ones when they get a favorite food or a nice walk. Maybe that's why animals are so good for people, their emotions are so even. Hope you have a better weekend.

Mr. Boatman talked to her today. She does not get it. She gone now for the day .. took the bus to work. I took away her credit card and told her she would need to talk to Mr. Boatman about getting a new one.
This girl is almost 20 ...
Cats ... so far aren't doing anything out of the ordinary ... but, it's early and maybe the coup is planned for evening ... is it a full moom ?
Sorry to hear about your human children. My 13 yr old Tigger had an outburst at the vet. He screamed like a human. My hubby & I had to both hold our ears. That was his worst tantrum ever. He's pretty good.
I hear your hot weather is coming our way, just in time for my Ocean City, MD vacation. Time to hit the water park & speedboat ride.
Our weather has cooled down
Or Mugged down
Clouds and Muggy but the sun it is a hiding
Waiting to pounce ..
You definitely need a break from the kids. Although ours are grown and out of the house, sometimes I wonder if they will EVER grow up. I'm very happy to hear that Mr. Boatman made it home safely.
{{{JC}}} A hug for you. Hope your weekend is uneventful.
She will grow up, become a mom and will understand you then. One day, she'll come to you, give you a hug and say: "Mom, I am so sorry..."
We don't think that dogs or cats are ever acting like human teenagers. They don't turn their backs on you or drive your car or stay on the phone for hours. All they want to do is hang around and ♥ you and that is a very good thing☺
All those teenage hormones...it's like an inedible soup sometimes :( Hang in there...this too shall pass.
