Tabby Tuesday Updates
I'm having my first cup of coffee
In my blue mug
I had a long relaxing weekend
Came home mid day yesterday
It was only half a day and an evening
I'm ready for a vacation and it's not even eight am
Teenagers & In Laws .. the stress those two make
Add in Mr. Boatman and his job situation
Mr. Boatman is leaving for the week on travel.
I get to deal with the teenagers and insurance co.
(if you missed my side post ... car got hit & D didn't get
all the info she needed.
Hit & Run driver.
Never a dull moment with her)
And you ask ... when does she go back to college ?
Thank You for asking. This month ... counting the days.
You also asked did my son read his book for AP English.
That would be a big NO he didn't but
I got to inquire and do my mean Mom thing.
And you asked the next question, will he go to college ?
Very doubtful ... if playing video games
all day gets you into Yale
He's got it made
So as I dream of relaxing weekends,
I will start my 'list' and try to remember
that Life is Good ...
Oh, you also asked how the cats were ?
They are fine now that it's a bit cooler.
This hot stuff was literally
causing them to melt into puddles of fur.
Now they are bouncing around and mewing
like usual
Mew at you all Later,

This is what I tell my daughter when she is groaning about the kids: Boy, am I glad my kids are grown.
Sounds like you have your hands full this week - glad you got away. Beautiful tabby cat! Looks like my Tabitha!
You certainly have a full plate! Take time and savor all of it -- even the frustrating stuff!
Oh no I hope you can find the hit and run driver or at least get that settled. I'm glad it is cooler for you and the cats. I bet they were hot. We had some nicer weather last week along with some rain but it is now back to smoldering temps. again...YUCK!
Fine looking feline! Hopefully your son will get it together and go to College. I know it made a big difference in my life.
Shew, busy busy!!! You do need a vacation!!
Noticed you recently watched The Reader.... waiting for it to come on HBO so I don't have to pay 3.99 for Pay-Per-View..... did you enjoy it? how about Nights in Rodanthe? The book was written by a local. I hope this movie is as good as The Notebook was!
Wow, rough week for ya. At least we have our cats for stroking their fur to help us relax. Hang in there.
I've been watching movies with Netflix
My D had it at college for her job ... coffee shop
Reader ... good, makes you think
Rodanthe ... ok, romance, ending is too long
Would I have wanted to pay to watch either one at the big movie screen ... no, but for ten ... or whatever we pay a month, they were good
Should she have won for best actress ... yes, I think so
I did not read either book
My Kitty Cat Synopsis
S-T-R-E-S-S!!!! I hope things are better tomorrow.
Your tabby is so like my Toby. (Now Toby will want to start blogging again.)
Maybe you can funnel you son's love of video games into a career of creating video games. Lots of money in that field.
Good luck with all the insurance hassle.
Marnie
My daughter was hit over three weeks ago...not her fault; but her car was totaled out. Daughter is now driving a new Saturn Vue. What a pain and disruption that was! Not to mention an expense I hadn't planned on.
