Sunday At The Beach

The chimes are dinging
The wind is blowing
Enough to give a break to this warmth
The sky is almost cloudless
I walked the beach & found a few sand dollars
Sat on the deck with Maddy Jean & Bella
We ate cold grapes & drank very cold water
Only the sounds of a motor boat buzzing & a dog barking
Very Peaceful
Mr. Boatman is busy doing guy things
Supposed to get in the high 90's
I hope to sit in the shade while reading my book
An iced drink by my side
Mr. Boatman said something about going out to dinner
He is taking a vacation day tomorrow so this is a long weekend
at the beach for us. No teenagers this time.
Hope you are enjoying your Sunday
I sure am ...

Sounds like a perfect way to spend a Sunday. I can feel the ocean breeze and smell the salt air now!

A sand dollar wind chime would be awesome! They are so pretty.

Your Sunday sounds perfectly relaxing.

Sunday at the beach, perfect if there is shade. Good coffee, beautiful view, special animals to sit with, a good book...what more can a gal want on a Sunday afternoon besides a little nap in the afternoon ?

I spent the whole weekend at the hospital with my father. We hope it's nothing serious but they are still doing tests on Monday.

YOur awful heat wave is making it's way east and due to hit here next weekend.

Marnie ~ I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope he gets better. The heat wave is quite unusual for my part of the world. I'm actually getting used to 90 something weather LOL

I'm sure my normal cloudy muggy rainy 60 degree weather will come back.

I like 70 ish weather with just a slight breeze ... and yesterday I did get to read my book with a couple of cute dogs and a cool drink.

Sigh...that sounds marvelous! Love the beautiful shot of the sand dollar.

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
