Hi JC, I love farmer's markets. In our area we are just now getting some ripe produce. I have started using the hand made soaps too. Didn't go last weekend but plant to next Saturday. I have a couple to choose from.

I LOVE when my Mommy goes to the farmer's market! I am a BIG glutton of fruit! Peaches, watermelon, and plaums are my FAVE!!! We giggled at the name Walla-Walla.

I got Lavendar which is still on my kitchen table .. drying out.

Some blueberries which I made into a delic pie for Mr. Boatman who loves blueberries.

The soap is marvelous smelling.

There really is a place called Walla Walla ... on the other side of my state ... never been there but I grew up knowing that they made onions. (My Mom used them in all her recipes ... not all but if she could add it she would)

Hi JC
Thanks for visiting mu blog and leaving a nice comment. I also love lilacs and cats! :-)

Farmer's Markets always have the most amazing produce. I once bought a cauliflower that weighed four pounds at one! The handmade soaps looked so interesting--going to check the link out and the blueberries ...mmm!

I love Farmer's Markets in the summer months. They just started one recently in Stanwood plus I enjoy going to the one in Okanogan. I like all of the fresh produce and homemade goodies.

I posted the answer to your pie question in my comments on the blog. :-)

Sally ~ I'll go over and find out

Lavender ... I always have to check that word. I spelled it right in the blog and wrong in comments ... oh spell check take me away to Sally's site to see what made her pie look so cute ....

This all looks so good! My mother-in-law used to live in Sequim - the climate there is perfect for lavender, and it even grew wild. I wish it was easier to grow it here.

I have a few lavender plants but not enough to get 'cuts' for the table. If I'm walking by and there is a slight breeze ... oh, the scent ... define !!!

Great love for farmer's markets although with no car I always find it challenging to get everything home!

Looks like you hit pay dirt at the Farmer's Market. I love homemade soap. Whenever John and I travel I always buy homemade soaps to take back with us! Glad you had a good day!

One thing about working weekends is that I miss the Market!! Okay, I could be there for 8 when it opens, but then I would miss my walk two days in a row (Sundays, I have to go church).

Blueberries, farmers market and lavender soap; you got my attention with these topics, all of which I like.
And of course cats and lilacs are wonderful too.

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
