Rain Drops Keep Falling

Two cats sitting in the rain
The wet days are many.
No more sun for us.
My Purr Gang has been napping.
Dreaming of last week.

Meredith is mad.
She got to go out and explore.
Napping while listening to the sounds
of the woods.
Birds singing her to sleep.

Now, she hears the drops of rain.
Heater vents and tea being made.

That is Spring in the Northwest.

Not to complain too much though.
We like it here.
Just a bit more of the warm stuff
would be appreciated.

We have sunshine today, at long last. t's been endlessly wet. First snow, then rain. But it's still chilly, chilly enough to wear mittens or gloves while outside. :-/

Let's hope for a lovely, long stretch of warm and dry air!

It was way too warm over here this weekend--in the mid 80s already! (Whine, whine, whine.)

I got the windows opened yesterday, after getting the screens on, and I was working in the back yard, when Miss Kitty started growling at me from her perch in the window. She is not used to people in the yard...
I figure to enjoy the sunshine every day we have it!!!

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
