The Mom took me with her to the beach place.
I protested, as my boy had just gotten home
but off I went with her.
It was very warm. 84.
Which is August weather for us.
(remember we live in rainy ville)
I walked the deck and napped in the shade.
The water was nice.
(Mom's words)
Mom, she sat in her rocking chair.
We all had fun.
Mom said it was like she was young again.
(Mom grew up with a pool .. long story.)
We are here today due to the hots.
Mr. Boatman is working from home.
(He really wanted to nap in the suns.)

84F in May is pretty darned hot. We've had perfect weather later, low to mid-70s, low humidity. Wonderful, even without a beach. :-)
Stick your toes in the water for me!!! I bet it is still icy!!!
We live in Rainyville too, and it is way too hot for May around her. Sitting on the porch in the shade is the best way to keep cool and carry on!
