~ ~ ~
The single light pink blossoms have arrived
on the tree just outside my window.
Just a few bit opened on Sunday
and now turning almost white
while they entertain
me and the Purr Gang.
The Fur Gang doesn't seem
that interested.
The bird tv has been fixed.
Thus, Riley Andrew is in a better mood.
Not that he's ever cranky
it's just that he's happy.
There's a lightness in his
kitty cat steps.
As if to say,
Mom the birds are back.
Also, returning is the big
squirrel.
We like the small one better.
A slight drop or two has arrived.
Enough to make things wet
but the two Fur Gang
are outside in the yard.
Waiting til the last moment
when their furs
gets too wet.
I don't mind them being out.
It's yard day and I never
know exactly when they arrive.
They swing in and mow
the greens and rake a bit.
Usually, in the late afternoon.
Big Al is snoozing in the chair.
He breaths heavier than the
rest of the Purr Gang.
Being the senior kitty,
I think he can do whatever
he wants in napville.
Me, I have one more day.
Tomorrow is my mini in office surgery.
Not pleasant but I find myself anxious.
I want so much for this latest surgery
to have worked.
Like, wa la.
All fixed.
I'll know more tomorrow.
My hopes are that this old cat lady body
will be wrinkled but healthy.
I want to just enjoy the day.
I'd love to walk around without pain.
That's a big wish of mine.
And, all those other things
that my body is planning for me,
could they be fun and not
these terrible things
that have been
following me lately.
Just saying ...
Here's to tomorrow
and what it may bring.
