This is a photo of my Mom's foot.
She is at her beach.
Sitting and relaxing.
The tide was out.
She'd just walked along the shoreline.
Looking for shells.
She found two small scallops
and one mini sand dollar.

Maddy Jean and Jodie Belle
were just to the left of Mom.
This is our beach area.
We own up to that thingy in the sand.
Most of the time it's a big lake.
This last weekend, it was a beach.
This is the view to the right of Mom.
The stairs to the beach are sort of old.
Jodie Belle isn't.
Me, I was up on the deck.
Looking down at Mom.
She told me it was too cold
for me to visit them.
I agreed.
(Mom said she wanted to show
all of you her beach.)
Til next week,

Beautiful! What a peaceful place to live....enjoy....
I have missed reading your blog for a while, but I didn't know how long until I saw Jodie Belle, all grown up! She is so beautiful.
Thank you for sharing your beach with us. I have been too long without water here in our droughty desert home, so am planning an exciting trip to Washington and other places, with the hope of experiencing some rain and having some great seafood. Can't wait!
What a lovely beach. Jodie Belle is getting so big and just as lovely. I grew up living along a lake and loved every minute of it. Not much of a beach but we had a dock that jutted out into the water that I loved to sit on and be rocked by the waves.
