Be Still My Heart

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
My visit to my heart Doctor was on Friday.
Really nice people.
Nurse is friendly.
Doctor is so nice.
Up until they tell you what the test results revealed.
Basically, my heart is racing like the Indy 500.
My numbers are so high that he is sending me to an expert.
He called him the 'electricity' guy.
I'm on a calcium based new med.
I bought it but it's waiting for me to be brave enough to take it.
Side effects .. nice ones .. were enough to make me go .. no thank you.
I did make my appointment with the specialist.
He's booked out two months.
So, I see him in November.
I asked if I would go back to this nice heart Doctor and he said only
until I get into the specialist.
There was mention of a surgery that I might need.
All things to talk to this new Doctor about.
Yeah !!!
It's been so much fun getting older.
Everything seems to hit me at once.
Can't wait to see what this new med does to me.
I have a history of getting whatever is mentioned as a possible effect.

I am now done going to my back Doctor.
Saw him a week or so ago and will go back if I have more trouble.
Done with physical therapy too.
Know what to do with my nerve pain.

The kidney surgery is supposed to be in October.
Only that might have to be moved til later.
My person ... the H ... is traveling and since I need him to take me home
I'll have to do it another month .. maybe late November.

Maddy Jean is improving.
I took her shirt off.
The two incisions don't seem to want to grow fur yet.
Maybe the other furs will cover those areas.

And, that as I say, cause I don't know who they are,
is the latest from this old lady who lives in the woods
and sometimes at the beach.

Wow Meow,
JC and Jodie Belle
She's napping near me.

Hearts and kidneys and doggy scars, oh my. You do have a lot on your plate. I'm sure that all your purring kit-kats and cuddly dogs will help weather this storm some. I'll send some positive energy your way, too.

Jodie I hope you are doing better. Hopefully the new meds will make everything A-OK

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
