Paint On Her Nose

~ PAINT ~

It's been a painting weekend.
Ladders in the entry hall.
Paint on the landings.
Blue tape on the edges of everything.

Me, I do the rolling.
Mr. Boatman does the edging.
That way the ceiling doesn't look like a mess.

The dogs have been helping.
Jodie got paint on her nose.
I tried to get it off.
This morning she has just a big dot left.

This old house in the woods,
will be almost totally painted
in a week or so.

We could have had someone else do it
but then I wouldn't have
a cute paint puppy,
would I ...

What, no painted paw tracks through the rest of the house? :-)

It's such hard work! A handful of years ago I could do it more easily--recover more quickly, I mean. I do have to repaint my bedroom this year, but am not anticipating doing much more than that.

Good luck finishing it up! A hot soak after might be a good thing. :-)

I'm with Fuzzy Tales. I used to enjoy refreshing the digs with a new paint job. These days, I feel ancient afterward! Last time, while we had no paint tipped noses, we did have a number of dye jobs on the fur!

It is always more fun to have friends around us to help paint....bet she looked really cute too....

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
