Mondays With Meredith Ann

This is where I've been this week.
It's been icy cold outside.
Mom won't let me out.
She builds me a fire and I nap here all night.
Sometimes during the day,
I nap here just to give her a hint
that I want a fire.
She usually gets the hint
and starts one for me.
I have her almost trained, don't I.
Hope you are all staying warm.

Til Next Week,

~ Meredith Ann ~

Meredith Ann, what a cosy, wonderful napping spot! You certainly do have your mom trained very well, to start a fire for you. :-)

Nothing like a cozy fire. We just got some alligator juniper wood delivered, it is so fragrant. Stay warm!

I love my "Atlanta Homesteader" wood stove, which I think they stillsell in athe Northern catalog. It loads from the side and I can put a huge log in it that lasts a long whild. Long Island has finally gotten cold, and we are battening down the hatches for the winter. Cheers for the holidays coming up.

Meredith Ann is so lovely, and what a perfect spot for a kitty to be in - in front of the fire - lucky kitty!

I am glad someone has the option of staying home and warm...

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
