What Is Next ...

A person walks through life
looking and listening
to the sounds and views
that follow their path.
The trees they pass
drop things to their feet.
Pick them up or pass on.
Looking towards the sky
wishing for the best,
one sometimes
looks down
at the worst
that is left.
A bad one that
you step in,
wiping your shoes
on the grass.
Always remembering
that it happened
but going forward
towards the unknown
the possibility
of what is next.

(there is such sadness
due to this economy
i write this about a dear friend
who is stumbling
and there is nothing i can do)

I'm sorry for your friend, am sending universal Light...If s/he needs help of the medical kind (meds, therapy, etc.) I hope s/he gets it.

It seems the more we, as a civilization, "progress," the more we lose our connections, our community and family support systems. This might not be the case with your friend, though, I'm putting my own interpretation on your words.

I hope your friend steps out of the s**t! I know I have step in my fair share, and enough is enough. I know there is light at the end of the tunnel, I just wish it wasn't so long. My love to you and yours.

Oh I am so sorry for your friend who is having a rough time. This economy is just brutal to so many people. It is so sad to me that it is the way it is right now.

The bitter taste of lemons, then...

Love your label about stepping on the lemons! But it's tough times everywhere -- sometimes there aren't even any lemons...

Good thoughts coming your way for your dear friend. xx

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
