Joey had them hanging in his garage.
Big and long.
Scared me at first.
They were Italian, is what he told me.
My Mom always used a clove or two.
She kept them in the cabinet above the stove.
I would stand back and watch her.
Got a pot with holes as a gift.
Wrote back that
I wasn't into garlic
but that I liked the blue and white jar.
Now, I use the salt to add flavor.
It took me a while to wise up.
If only I'd been Italian like Joey.

I couldn't live without garlic. I'm now trying to figure out how to dehydrate it without blowing out the house.
I really like how we all take different paths for the same picture!
viscous time
I love the smell! Thanks for the shout out on Little Bit!
Garlic wins again!
Italian like Joey ... garlic, wine, cheese, olive oil, bread, pasta ... Joey has it all!!!
Love the smell of garlic!
I love the colours in your photo! I think it could well be on a wall!
How is your walking program going? When do you leave for the desert?
How YOU doin'? (heh)
love it.
Glad to see another garlic fan.
Cooking without fresh garlic? Possible, but not likely, in our house! ;-)
May I humbly suggest trying a 40 clove roast chicken... cloves stuffed in the cavity get soft and sweet and nutty... might change your mind about garlic.
I'll second the garlic chicken recipe.
I liked the bit about the pot with holes...hee.
Love the garlic keeper - with holes - I can see it.
I suspect a lot of garlic chickens with suddenly bloom!
Seems we all like garlic! Is that why life stinks?
