Listen to what you see

As the sun was rising,
 I woke to the birds.
Happy to have their morning meal.
As that first cup of coffee is made,
Fumes are breaking the spell.
Opening the door to the new day.
Walking down that golden path.
Sitting on an old bench.
Looking at what the day has given.
People wave as they pass.
On their way.
I listen & see.
Not the noise but the
 inner joy
 of life itself.

What a peaceful way to start the day, listening, looking... seeing life's symphonies around us.

Hello neighbor; loved the start
on your day, your five cats,
two dogs, boatman, and the
children. WA state is so perfect
to reside in; mountains close,
the ocean within reach, moderate
climate, and the biggest inland
sea around, plus the largest fleet
of ferries in the country. Down
here in Sumner, I am the head
on the muscular foothills to
the Cascades, a river rat, and
valley guy. Have you ever read
Tom Sullivan's book, WISH YOU
COULD SEE WHAT I HEAR.?

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
