Need A Bit

Nothing like cleaning out an old basement.
Things long forgotten.
To one  it is a lovely memory.
To another it's a piece of junk.
I'd like to hope that now
it can be a decoration
by a front porch.
Welcoming.
Bringing the slight hope of snow.
Activities with hats and scarfs.
We all need a bit of the
Wintery Dreams
 as we
Go down that hill
 called life.

Don't you love how one picture can take different minds into completely different places? I love it!
By the way.... Samson (my one lonely canine) came to me from my friend Carri. She couldnt keep him so he came to live with me 6 years ago. I always joke when she leaves that she forgot her dog, lol.

I took my sons' sled to Goodwill some years back after checking with him to make sure that was OK-and before I could even get it totally out of my car a woman asked me if she could have it to use as a Christmas decoration. I let her have it, but part of me wanted to say "Take it for a ride with your kid!!!"
Nice post!

Lovely, now add some greenery, a bow some ornaments and a great porch decoration is born. We have plenty of snow here, 2' and rain tonight then more lake effect until weds. Will send you some.

Love the old sled and the verse to go with it. We are getting lots of snow here.

There comes a time in your life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for those who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.
